Pros

Some great people work here! Values-Driven (on the face of it) Product is genuinely relevant to the Target Market (Developers) Responsive to changes in priorities If your face fits this is a great Company to work for

Cons

Company is very focussed on looking good rather than being good Much is made of the Docker Values - but these are very selectively applied Management does not tolerate ideas they didn't come up with Much is made of how approachable and supportive all levels of Management are - this is not bourne out by the reality Established Teams can be very cliquey Goals and objectives change too frequently

Pros

Interesting technology and a recognisable brand within the sector.

Cons

Lost the company founder. Slow reaction time to market, poor customer service and lack of effective leadership at all levels has resulted in many competitors gaining an advantage. Management has lost all credibility, it is unresponsive to feedback from employees which has contributed to creating a toxic work environment where everyone is scared of being fired and team morale is low. There is very little enablement or training. The company's organisational structure has lots of gaps which make communication flow disruptive and ineffective. In some teams, the toxic working environment has sparked a culture of bullying and harassment which is being ignored by HR and senior management. Benefits package and company pension are one of the worst in the industry. No transparency, No accountability.
