Pros

I enjoyed working with the staff and the people who I worked with every day were pleasant and I learnt a lot from them. You can ask the other driver or other team members for help if you cannot carry anything and are advised to ask others to carry things that are heavy for you. Whenever I had issues with something, the health and safety staff/others in the office, were really good at looking after me, listening to my concerns/questions. For example if I was looking for something they advised me or were able to find something for me if it was lost.

Cons

It is hard work, it is important to make sure that you are able to learn how to carry the heavy load safely and if you are not careful you can hurt yourself and others, make sure you are aware of the risks before you go into this job, Because everyone is really good at what they do in carrying the beds and boxes, you might feel the pressure to do it all yourself and put yourself at risk. Don't let yourself be afraid to ask for help if you need it just because they seem to be really good when you are having difficulty. There are occasions you think, how did the customer order this bed when the measurements are so tight if not incorrect, it seems that the sales and customer don't get the opportunuty to talk with the men on the ground who do the work, it would be wise for the company to ensure that a person who does the work on the ground visits the premisis to see if what they ordered is feasable for a bed and frame to be taken to the location and into the room requested. There have been occasions when becuase of that deliveries despite the excellent work of the drivers, the sales and customer did not realise that the bed may not fit in the location or the bed cannot be taken into the room, so another option should have been recommended.
