      Pros

      The university is in a big city (Budapest), the science buildings are new, most research equipment is modern (in biology). Good work-life balance.

      Cons

      Pay is ridiculously low. Many departments live in the past, e.g. the biology curriculum hasn't changed in the last 15 years -- and was way outdated even back then. Due to the lack of English knowledge and travel / work exposure abroad, the work culture and attitudes are very insular and inefficient.
