Pros

Flexible schedule, decent pay, good coworkers, good perks

Cons

Ease is a boys club first and foremost. If you are a woman you will not be treated equally, whether it be in pay, opportunities etc. When bringing these concerns to HR, they blow it off (sad coming from an all women HR staff.) Very, very clique like behavior. Mean girls mentality at it’s worst. Don’t be surprised if you hear upper management screaming at each other or employees. They brag about how much money they make but won’t pass any of it down to employees. Over worked and underpaid is ease’s motto. They don’t care about employees until it’s too late. Non sales or operations departments are put on the back burner and thrown aside. I left after 4 years with the company, 20 minutes after emailing HR my notice I get a phone call telling me I don’t need to finish my notice. It’s all smoke and mirrors.

Pros

A lot of great people work here. From entry level to the directors, a lot of the people who work here truly mean well and work really hard. Fair Pay Great People Hard Working Teams

Cons

The company made a series of poor decisions that resulted in two separate layoffs, including folks who were just hired some months prior. This happens sometimes with businesses but *the way* in which this occured was fraught with lack of communication, smoke in mirrors of "everything is fine, you are valued" etc, before using at-will employment to fire multiple individuals without notice, severance, or post employment support. A classic example of "numbers over people". Meanwhile, the company struggles to pay its carriers and make money, not through the fault of the hardworking people who come in day in and day out. Poor Executive Leadership Terrible Financial Planning Poor Executive Accountability Treats Employees as Expendable

Pros

- Comfortable clothing - Chill work environment - Lunch rewards - Company celebrations - Discount or compensated services - Ideas considered here more than anywhere else I looked It's definitely a place geared toward younger professionals, which is nice. Being so involved with the community from volunteering and Crew sponsorship is great.

Cons

- Management has little to no leadership skills, not boss skills, leadership - Management asks you to be open but punishes you in obvious or subtle ways when you question them - Management does not want to answer the hard questions; severe lack of transparency - Problems are constant with no real intent or action to minimize them - Poor communication from upper management on org changes - Promises at hiring that are not kept - Constant delays on salary increase - Feels like high school at times unless you're in the club - Very little to no celebrating, protecting, or valuing team members from management - Punish first, seek to understand later (if ever) - DE&I is often performative There's constant stress and a need to "my way or the highway." I came into EASE expecting terrific culture and support. After several months, initial promises went away without talking to us, Management doesn't seem to care about employees outside of a pizza party. Sometimes there are sneaky practices and lots of drama. Definitely hires friends as managers and into leadership based on how long they've been there or how close they are to the CEO - not so much people who make better leaders.
