Pros
I've been employed by ESW for over 10 years. At the time of my hire, we were 3; the 2 owners and myself. I chose them because I knew that we'd get to go through all the highs and lows of start-up-ship together. And we have. Over the years, we've gone through personal and professional highs and lows but one thing has always been consistent: Jonathan's (CEO) passion for the company and his employees; his extended family. Pros: Autonomy Creative environment Direct access to leadership / transparency Work/life balance!!!
Cons
Using the term "con" loosely... The intimate ESW environment isn't for everyone. You have to be a self-starter and take advantage of your autonomy. There is very little hand-holding and sometimes it's unclear what is expected of you. But management is patient and quite forgiving. To succeed here requires you to really monitor your own successes and failures.
