      Lack of resource and proper structure

      Pros

      Fast paced environment, lot of opportunities to learn if you are interested in lighting and product design.

      Cons

      There's no effective communication in between different functional group, constant random changes and scope creep. Management are pushing for deadlines without considering the overall quality. People get burned out quickly due to lack of resource and proper process.

      Pros

      Some co-workers are nice, energetic and smart. In theory there is a lot of opportunity to grow this company in a very innovative way

      Cons

      Major favoritism. Some employees are the pets of the CEO and are kept on payroll even though no one really sees them doing much. There is a protected class of the CEO's favorites and a class of employees that break their backs for very little gain. Pay is sub-par and they keep touting the benefits of a start-up. This company was founded 12 years ago - the "start-up" card is old and not applicable anymore. They need to get in line with better pay, better benefits, better treatment of people. You can't work people to death and say it's part of the startup culture. If you're going to ask so much, then the comp packages need to be better aligned.

      Pros

      I joined this company about 6 months ago. These have been the best 6 months of my professional career. Great work culture in a very positive work environment. I would highly recommend working here if you are someone who is driven and enjoys working in a highly dynamic environment

      Cons

      If you are looking for a company which is very structured and everything is laid out, this may not be the right fit for you
