      Pros

      Working on behalf of nonprofits' missions is rewarding.

      Cons

      Extremely negative and toxic workplace. Leaving this job was the best step I ever took for my mental health. From the top down, the culture is unhealthy. Nasty remarks meant to undercut coworkers are a daily occurrence. Leadership destroys employees' confidence for sport. Edge is part of a larger "enterprise company" and any ideas or initiatives from "sister companies" are deliberately blocked or undermined, sometimes at the clients' expense. Mean girl mentality is the default mode at Edge. Lots of pressure to work in-person in Baltimore and travel to visit clients amid Covid.

      Pros

      Some of the coworkers are great and helpful. The parking is free and convenient. There are a lot of restaurants to grab lunch from in the area.

      Cons

      Management and HR aren’t taking COVID or the concerns of its employees seriously. They’re not willing to work with employees who have health concerns or employees that have expressed they have issues with daycare during this pandemic. They are not family friendly at all. There is no work life balance because the workload is outrageous and the managers have too high of expectations for their understaffed departments. The benefits are expensive and the salaries are low. Management thinks appreciation lunches will fix the low morale in the company.

      Pros

      Direct Management clearly cares about their employees wellbeing and ability to work efficiently. Staff is filled with amazing minds and great to have as coworkers.

      Cons

      Upper Management cares more about appearances than the health and morale of employees. Concerns brought to HR are met with immediate resistance and no compromising is offered.
