Pros
It's a fun environment and if you fit in "the vibe" you'll have a good time. It's a plus if you're not shy about dancing, singing, and being goofy. Coffee is much better quality than other drive-thru coffee shops with tons more options to play with. The tips can pay off but some days are better than others.
Cons
Promotions are prioritized to people who don't deserve it. If you're loud and like to twerk more than work, you're probably going to be promoted. If you keep to yourself, you're likely going to be labeled boring even if you know what you're doing. An extremely "clicky" atmosphere like high school. It's pretty often for multiple people to abandon their station and leave a few people actually working so they can have a conversation with a customer or with each other. Also due to shared tips, if you're the one putting all the effort into customer-interaction, the fruits of your labor will be shared amongst those who may or may not put in that same effort. Also, breaks aren't really regulated unless you're training or doing a double. 6-8 hour shift on your feet all day? Sorry, can't leave. But you CAN eat at the bar/window in front of the customers, which is disgusting and unprofessional.
