Pros

This is a weird place. They sell portable Ox generators. A useful product. A cut throat business model. Talk to sick and dying people and Get Their CC numbers.

Cons

There are a lot of moving parts here. From minimum calls per day (90, none negotiable) to the script you MUST follow to get to the sale itself. The customer base is a very sad segment of our population. These are all very ill people usually with little to no income and you have a product that can really help them. But most can’t afford. Then you get to ask lots of closing questions. Like: Well if you have no money or credit, do you have a friend or relative that can help? Or my favorite, Do you have both kidneys still? (just a joke) but it felt like that to me anyway.

Pros

It's a family environment and I have worked there for 4.5 years. They want to help the sales reps grow and the potential earnings are the highest in the industry.

Cons

Like all call centers there will be an average turn over. People are drawn to the potential earnings but it may not be the right fit for them. That being said those of us that earned our seat don't leave b/c we help a lot of people and get paid well to do it!

Pros

The Sales manager is the best thing this small company has going for it. He is wise and brings many years of experience with him to the table. He is fair, empathetic, caring, and ready to coach you. His approach to managing is one you would expect from a true professional. Without him the company lacks any real true professionalism.

Cons

The incoming phone calls are set up for only a few to actually receive them. This means only a few individuals get the "HOT" leads, people who want to purchase the companies product. Then the remaining calls or left over calls are patched through down to the rest of the "team". This means that only a handful of reps get the "buying" callers. The rest of the team gets really nothing. Thant's why only a few of the reps at this company are making six figures, and the rest are starving. High turnover is expected with this set up and it is exactly what's happening. Oh buy the way the initial training is meager at best. The "rules of engagement" are touched on but the in depth information is only explained when you step on one of the tenured reps toes. Again making it for the few to benefit. Be careful of the promise of a high income it's simply not true.
