Pros

Some nice people work here.

Cons

The company’s redundancy processes are unfair and poorly handled, creating significant uncertainty and mistrust among staff. Management behaviour is often unprofessional, with inconsistent communication, lack of accountability. Employees are overworked due to understaffing and unrealistic expectations, with little recognition or support. Zero opportunity for progression or pay rises. Overall, 26 is a terrible agency to work for.

Pros

People are some of the best, really friendly and really easy to get on, most of which became friends outside of work.

Cons

People leave and never get replaced you absorb the workload. Tyler and Faz are good examples of this. The company is really greedy, accounts show how much profit is made, even for those in the accounts team they get no commission or incentive. Goal posts are moved, there is always extra tasks added when you are closing in on meeting your current objectives for a payrise. It’s really unfair and can be very demotivating. To mask this they they give you a pay rise of £500-£800 A YEAR and say it’s performance and inflation - in reality it’s just inflation and they will try sell you a lie. Micromanagement is rife, management above don’t have any technical skills but will advise you on what to say or do - I get mentorship, but this situation stretches to almost every occasion. Usually the advise is incorrect anyway, and it used to make me cringe when higher ups would jump on a CRO and talk about PPC, laughable and awkward in front of the client.

Thank you for sharing your views, we agree that it’s the people that make working here special. In response to your comments about absorbing workload, 26 DX is now part of MMT, a much larger agency with more colleagues able to take on the workload of those who left last year. It did not make sense to recruit people just before the integration, but we understand that this put additional pressure on existing employees in the short term. We benchmark our salaries annually and carry out equal pay checks to ensure that our salaries are fair, on top of which we pay company bonuses and incentives to reward performance, paid once our annual accounts have been audited. We also offer generous holiday and benefits to ensure that our overall package is competitive.
