They have a nice office space and some coworkers were kind and supportive.

In my experience, there were no clear opportunities for meaningful advancement. Junior employees were frequently overlooked, and new roles were sometimes created in ways that seemed to bypass traditional promotion paths. The work environment was characterized by heavy micromanagement, which significantly limited autonomy and trust. Communication from leadership and management was often demeaning or condescending, creating a demoralizing atmosphere. While there is technically an HR point of contact, the role is combined with other unrelated executive responsibilities. This dual role often felt like a conflict of interest and left many employees feeling they had no truly neutral or safe avenue to raise concerns. Teams operated in silos, which hindered collaboration. Meetings were frequent and, in many cases, felt unproductive or discouraging to open participation. Some of the research initiatives promoted by leadership came across as lacking rigor or thoughtful execution, which undermined my confidence in the organization’s direction.
