Pros

A great job if you have personal requirements to remain in your own home. Flexible hours to work round your lifestyle. Rewarding dealing with all types of people from all age demographics.

Cons

People without call centre experience may struggle with being in a virtual environment, the job isn't suitable to those who can't follow instruction or scripting and think on their feet.

Pros

As you are on a 0 hour contract you can be removed from shifts if you decide you don't want to work that shift. the fact that you are at home and you can ignore the petty comments that are made about the calls you have made or the patronising ones when you have made a good call

Cons

the job is so boring and repetitive you have to follow the script to the letter and woe betide you if you make the mistake of actually thinking for your self or hold a proper conversation with the patient and if you do follow the script you end up sounding like someone who doesn't have the understanding of the English language as the scripts lack basic English grammar. you are expected to do any training in your own time from the on line forum and the only time the team leaders or management contact you is when the want to tell you what you have done wrong I have worked for this company for 18 months and never once had a routine 1-2-1 the sooner I find another job the better
