Pros

Salary and Bonuses....that is about it.....

Cons

Culture is horrible. Despite many efforts to become more inclusive, diverse, and multi-cultural, the company remains a militaristic, male dominated lead company which in turn leaves people in the minority of gender and race wanting more. Efforts in diversity, and inclusion often come off fake and lacks authenticity. Exceptionally talented people constantly leave for bigger, better opportunities. Driving bottom line results is a must, and they broadcast that every 2 weeks on nationally held conferences. Even if the company is meeting its obligations to SEJ (7-Eleven Japan), company self imposes no spending call to actions earlier each year. This means they will lay off, cut, trim down departments and eliminate resources to do your job effectively. Stores are run down, dirty, lack updating, and products to compete, so 7-Eleven grows through M&A activity. Someone has to ultimately pay for that, unfortunately it always seems to be at the cost of human capital. Franchisee relationship has been fractured for decades.

Pros

good work value and environment friendly

Cons

The manager would call my phone at 3 am to tell me to unload a truck full of drinks alone, constantly, even though it was never mentioned or docked as pay.

Pros

Steady hours, free drinks, meet an assortment of people, repetitive customers that you get to know and like

Cons

Low pay, bad benefits, and mostly working by yourself unless you're first shift, and then only on weekdays.
