Pros
- Some food provided in the office - Relatively modern tech stack
Cons
The work environment feels generally hostile - out of all the places I worked they are the most willing to fire people. In my opinion the people who lost their jobs were usually scapegoated for poor decisions by the management. There is an atmosphere of casual sexism in the office, especially at the management level. Some action was taken to try and combat this, but it was neither sufficient or effective. It's not significantly worse than most places in the tech industry, but it is still a problem. The office is in a really bad location which makes commuting and getting lunch more of a stretch. The management present themselves as friendly and trustworthy, but behind the scenes this does not seem to be the case. There is the classic startup problem of money being prioritized over people. There seems to be little or no chance for career progression. They have taken steps to establish a system but it's chaotic and at least for the moment it's essentially a dead-end job
