Pros
The children are wonderful and the directors let you do what ever you want in your classrooms so you can do a lot of fun stuff with the kids.
Cons
For the staff, they never let you have a day off and want you to come in every weekend to do mandatory activities. The people in charge don't know anything about caring for the children or how to help with the children that need more 1 on 1 attention. They ignore your calls so that they don't have to step in the class room and give you a bathroom break and also give you 4 hour lunches to cut overtime after they kept you there for an extra 3 hours the day before. They stopped giving raises to save money. They also make you do a ton of lesson planning, curriculum work and observations to look good and professional but in reality they don't care what you do or if you don't do anything at all. The people in charge also liked to sit in the younger classrooms for hours and gossip with the staff about the parents and would completely ignore the crying babies. They don't care about the development or education about the children, everything is about saving money making the few teachers that they have do everything. The children are constantly being bumped around from class to class and messing up the children's schedules instead of hiring staff to be in ratio with the teacher so that they don't have to bump. They make it look like they know what they're doing but it's honestly a nightmare in here!
