Pros
There isn’t much pros, besides flexible schedule. You could work between 2-10 business days.
Cons
Schedules differ every month. Some months you may have 2 days scheduled or maybe 10. Pay is unstable because if hearings fall through or claimants do not show up you do not get paid your full amount. Most of the days, half do not show up. So you are left just sitting there without pay until your next hearing. This is not a stable job. You have one day of training, that is not paid, and than thrown into the job. There was never a day where I didn’t have technology problems with the system. And was never trained on it and most of the time running behind due to this.
