Pros
I have been here for nearly four years and love it. The work is intellectually challenging and interesting. ACUS is at the cutting edge of administrative law, so the opportunities to dig into very rich legal questions is endless. Management is extremely adept at running the agency and supports their staff. The administrative support staff is also outstanding. There is abundant opportunity to interact with senior leaders throughout government and the private sector.
Cons
There are some minor frustrations, as is the case with any job (e.g., some amount of administrative tasks) but these are far outweighed by the advantages of working here.
