Pros

The project manager I worked with was amazing and very on top of things.

Cons

1. This is the biggest one-- The HR person is honestly the worst employee I have ever met. I have not heard a single positive thing from my other coworkers who have completed onboarding with her. She is impossible to get in touch with and then when you do get in touch with her, it still might be several weeks until you get the answer or paperwork you need. She has yet to pay a new employee on time without them having to ship a check to the employee. With so many new hires, you would think this process has been ironed out and is seamless. Our customer is extremely disgruntled with the HR person and would probably consider finding a new contractor simply because of HR. 2. While having problems with HR, you can be assured that the answers you will get from the other people managing the contract will only refer you to HR and never address the problem themselves. There is little to no communication when changes are happening that directly impact the employee. 3. Benefits, time off, and especially their family leave policies are inadequate. Accumulating sick time and having none of your sick time transfer at the end of the year is a bogus policy that incentivizes employees to abuse the system because they can not take sick time until the end of the year when they have accumulated enough hours. Surprisingly, this company touts its belief in work-life balance when they do not treat their employees as such.

There was a time where we had few high level people. Because of that, our business progressed slow.

-Inconsistent communication and lack of clear direction from leadership at times -Limited structured mentorship and professional development support -Company priorities and initiatives frequently shifted, leading to unfinished projects or duplicated efforts -Organizational vision and services could be difficult to clearly articulate due to constant evolution -Leadership style can feel reactive and, at times, overly critical rather than constructive -Workplace environment may feel high-pressure depending on leadership dynamics, communication style, and lack of necessary personnel -Greater emphasis on client outcomes and business growth than internal team experience -Performance concerns and corrective actions were not always communicated with sufficient clarity or lead time, which led employees feeling unprepared to respond or improve
