Pros
- Some Great People to Work With - Lots of Overtime - Occasional Free Lunches - Way above average PTO / Sick-Time
Cons
- Upper Management focuses on departments responsible for fixing the symptoms of a problem rather than those responsible for the root cause of major known issues. Continual "firefighting" is leading to a waste of resources which is hurting morale and placing blame on the wrong people. As a result people are loosing their jobs or leaving as in my case. - Misaligned / non-achievable expectations - Impossible to get the work completed with the extremely lax PTO Policy, Workers can miss time without consequence (doctors notes aren't needed for extended time missed). Workers can even no call no show without consequence. - HR micromanages everything rather than focusing on what it should be, it's workers. - For an I.T. company, the onsite I.T. department is non-existent. If there's an issue with hardware or software be prepared to wait while you're unproductive and unable to do your job. - More interested in acquiring or buying other companies to grow their portfolio rather than internally scaling first. - They love their custom software and focus only on adding more and more applications rather than fixing their broken core software.
