Pros

I have been able to Work From Home whenever needed even when I was technically full time in office, I have always had easy communication with supervisors and other departments, and the team has always worked well together. Honestly, this is one of the best places I've ever worked.

Cons

Training is somewhat lacking considering the very specialized products, but I know that is being worked on. Salary is about 2/3rds of the target considering the background needed to even be trained. That said, it's a solid, stable company with potential for growth, reasonable benefits, a great and very 'human' working environment where your needs matter.

Pros

Early Career Launchpad: The opportunity to kickstart my career in a small, dynamic environment was invaluable, offering firsthand experience in navigating the complexities of a startup.

Cons

Customer Relationship Dynamics: There were instances where the team's alignment seemed to veer towards being against customers, often engaging in criticism rather than seeking constructive solutions. Fostering a culture that encourages understanding and positively addressing customer feedback could greatly enhance service quality and company reputation. High Employee Turnover: The company experienced a high turnover rate, which made retaining historical knowledge of projects a challenge. This turnover not only impacted team cohesion but also the efficient and effective continuation of long-term projects. Lack of Project Oversight: Management often seemed to lack a true grasp of the ongoing details and statuses of projects. This absence of oversight contributed to project delays and a disconnect between management expectations and team capabilities. Enhancing project management practices and ensuring managers are more involved and informed could alleviate these issues. Chronic Over-Promising: Leadership, especially the owner and CEO, consistently failed to deliver on numerous promises, leaving a trail of disillusionment and skepticism among the team. Signal Over Substance: Despite heavy emphasis on cultivating a positive culture, it often felt like a veneer, masking low employee engagement and a disconnect from actual workplace issues. Unsustainable Work Pace: Deadlines were frequently unrealistic, creating a relentless high-pressure environment that seemed oblivious to the team’s capacity and well-being, leading to burnout and frustration.
