Pros
AMN has been in the industry for over 30 years and we are stronger than ever. I have worked at the company for over 10 years and it has been amazing to see our growth from being a travel nursing company to a strategic partner with our hospitals and clients for all of their staffing needs. Here are my top 3 pros on working at AMN: 1) The people. I have met incredible people and made lifelong friendships with many. I enjoy going to work in the morning because it is not hard when you love the people you work with. To add, nothing is more incredible as a leader than seeing people grow. I have had the pleasure of working with people and seeing them reach their personal and professional goals. As we continue to hire new people, I love seeing this start all over again and cannot wait to see where someone will take their career. 2) Our work. I am in the travel nurse division and I am proud of what we do. We work hard, stay late, and do everything in our power to get clinicians on assignment and fill as many needs as possible. We know at the end of the day that we are helping patients and that is so fulfilling. I come from a family with many nurses and am afraid of blood so I enjoy that I can help in this way. 3) The leaders. We have an incredible leadership team from the top down. If you put in the work, you will have a fantastic career path at AMN. They also make wise decisions. With each new acquisition, I am always impressed with our planning and the direction that we are heading. The C-Suite team is comprised of leaders who are inspiring, approachable, and brilliant.
