Pros
AMS has been trying to get the employees more engaged for the past couple of years. Programs have been in place to ensure employees are heard. And some issues that have been raised were addressed to some extent. Career progression is likely but only to a certain degree. Hardwork pays off only until you get to a lead specialist role. The company's benefit package keeps on evolving due to the demands/grievances of the employees. HMO provider was changed due to incompetence. Insurance provider switched to get more benefits/coverage. Satellite office was opened for employees living east of Manila. Things like that. Remote working option available to a big section of the workforce.
Cons
There is career progression within the company as I have witnessed deserving (and undeserving) employees move up. Once an employee reaches this level, it's gonna take a whole new approach to get to the next level up (supervisory). From this point on, you will see credit grabbers, smooth talkers, or just plain underperformers move up the ladder. Why? Because they hang with the managers most of the time. You will be surprised when you see the newly promoted 'leaders'. They don't even know how to 'lead' per se. The new performance incentive scheme seems unfair to the most hardworking segment of the company, sourcers and admin. Employee referral program needs improvement.
