Pros

The people are what make AMTA a tolerable place to work. They are friendly and collaborative, to the extent that they can be. The building is nice and in a lovely location. There are decent benefits including affordable health insurance and a generous 401k.

Cons

Terrible, terrible leadership. The leadership propagates a culture of trepidation and hard-working staff are trapped in an environment that perpetuates motivation and productivity through fear and threats. The micromanagement that is claimed to not exist is the core of managements' expected duties. A learning curve for new employees is absent and unrealistic expectations for perfection within minimal time frames remain the norm.

Pros

AMTA has changed a great deal over the last few years and it shows. Leadership pays attention and wants to create an environment where staff feels engaged and valued. Work/life balance and benefits are great, and the current teams are very collaborative.

Cons

Advancement will always be a challenge in mid size organizations and leadership is working to better define what that looks like.

Pros

Remote Policy Good Work/Life balance

Cons

Poor upper management. CEO Jeff Flom spews platitudes in an effort to appear as though he is listening and cares about employees. In reality, he has proven he will do whatever it takes to cement his own position within the company and satiate the Board of Directors. He is a weak, self-first leader who does not care about the employees that make the company go.
