Pros

None - You will regret working here.

Cons

You know a company has a cultural problem when they require you to write a book report on team work immediately upon being hired. They embrace a cult like school of thought - Customer, Accountability, Excellence, Results - however, they don't practice what they preach. You'll see a double standard across all departments. The hypocrisy has a trickle down effect. Scott will hire managers that he can disparage and they'll thank him for it. Consequently, they do the same to their employees. The further down the chain you are, the more they'll treat you like you're nothing. If you speak to management about it, they will try to gas light you into believing sacrificing your life for your job is worth it. In reality, you will be taken advantage of and your hard work will go unnoticed.

APR Supply Response
4y
As a 100-year organization with a mission of creating customer enthusiasm and the core values mentioned, we’ve learned that not everyone thrives in a culture of highly driven and motivated people. For those that do – APR is the land of opportunity. With a strong leadership development program, a growth strategy to double in size every five years, and a history of promoting from within, APR looks to add teammates that are ready to embrace the pace of growth and change that is inevitable with a growing and thriving organization. APR utilizes a hiring process that attempts to ensure candidates understand the APR culture and values – rooted in Patrick Lencioni teachings, which includes sharing a Lencioni book, the Predictive Index, and multiple layers of interviews. APR wants each teammate to be successful, though acknowledge that that is not always the case.
