Pros

Decent pay for an unskilled worker with no experience in aerospace.

Cons

Technicians are undervalued. Lack of transparency in decision making. 7 years into the business and still not out of research and development. Bonuses not awarded based on skill, merit or productivity. They’re given out to favorites. CEO is rude and doesn’t let management manage according to their own dictates. Human Resources might as well not even exist. They offer 4000 shares of stock with 1000 shares after 6 months but HR doesn’t follow through with it. Many lies from the beginning of employment. You can face harassment and threats at work and they don’t do anything about it. Always waiting on engineering. Too many employees, not enough work. Attendance point system does not allow you sick leave. You will be threatened with write ups and potentially terminated if you’re sick. Be prepared for management to look down on you for missing work for any reason. You’re more of a paid slave in a very dehumanizing way. They see you as a number and the low man on the totem pole can be replaced. Employee retention isn’t part of their culture. Management fires the people at the bottom to keep he heat off them for the failures in their department. You’ll only get specialized training if someone in management favors you. No one holds themselves accountable and always blames failures on someone else. Most supervisors take credit for the work and ideas technicians come up with. Also, most supervisors do not defend their employees.

Pros

Building satellites is cool, and there's a lot of opportunity to learn new things.

Cons

Most of the engineers and management live and work somewhere other than west Texas - do you blame them? Because of that, people who work there are treated like crap by the people who don't live and work there. Senior management, with a couple of exceptions, sucks up and punches down. Also, there is a subtle bias against people who speak English as their primary language.
