Pros
- Set hours as an ATC, very flexible at some contracts - Large amount of autonomy - Decent benefits and PTO - CEU reimbursement - Very willing to develop ATCs in the industrial setting or for leadership roles
Cons
- Many traditional ATC skills are not utilized often or at all in this setting - Experience with the company depends largely on what client site you're placed at - Very "numbers" focused and low job security due to being a contractor - Very low annual raise, less than a cost of living adjustment - Can get lonely if you are the only AWS employee at your client site
