The leadership are liars. I was specifically told by my supervisor and manager that I could go home as I was sick (I have type 1 diabetes). I told them I was using my protected sick time under Oregon law. My direct supervisor specifically told me I would not be disciplined for leaving. I got a call when I got home letting me know I was fired. They even tried to lie to me and tell me Oregon law does not provide protected sick time, which is contradicted by Oregon's own website
