10yIt is regrettable when sites such as this become blunt instruments used to advance someone’s malice and ill will. We believe that to be the case with this particular review. We strongly disagree with the gross misstatements as well as the characterization of our corporate leadership, culture, and care shown to our employees.
We are a government contractor subject to audits, and various other forms of oversight, all of which we have always passed. Our management team are extremely ethical and conscientious about our obligations to employees. It is also of note that HR’s job (in part) is to communicate employee issues up the chain so that they can be properly addressed. The characterization that HR will not protect employees is a pointed distortion of the truth; in fact, HR goes the extra mile to work with management on an employee issue that could have resulted in a termination as it would in another company, but did not. As to sudden layoffs, although a common occurrence for others in our industry, we have had only one small layoff of four employees in the past 11 years. As you can see the author has greatly exaggerated this issue with a lack of knowledge and is missing facts. Lastly, as to not taking advice, the company has succeeded because of its flexibility and ability to adapt, both which rely on input from a variety of sources, internal and external. We welcome feedback and encourage discussion.
