This has been a great place to work for many years. AVC promotes from within, and I've seen several people advance their careers while working here. Everyone is given a fair amount of opportunities to develop their career in the directions that they desire.
There is a team based approach to solutions which keeps everyone on their feet. I personally enjoy this approach because it allows you to have a voice within the organization and it's methods for solving problems and progressing things in a positive way.
The atmosphere is very loose and friendly. No micromanaging.

AV Concepts Response

Thank you for for your feedback. We are happy to hear that yourself and colleagues have continued to grow here at AV Concepts. The live events industry is definitely fast paced, and we appreciate how collaborative the team works together to create the best show experience possible.
Learn from many different people. In the summer can get 40hrs/week despite it being slow in business in the valley and can learn different boards and set up/learn different pieces of equipment
Cons
Disorganized and no optimized efficiency of online systems. Not enough communication between higher ups and it trickles down into issues the technicians must then deal with or formulate contingencies for.
