Pros
Programming side seemed really good. Learning Crestron and Extron was great. Was sent to Crestron programming and was able to grasp it well. Would have loved to do more programming, unfortunately there wasn't enough programming work.
Cons
Environment: Installation side is professional on the customer facing side, but non-facing side is pretty ghetto. Guys seem to harass each other through teasing and touching (even in the crotch area). Also stealing tools seems to be tolerated.
Possible Safety Concerns: Company vehicles also seems ghetto for such a high end company. You go to job sites in their vans with no seatbelts. Safety harness on lifts is only enforced by project managers, site managers, and OSHA. Lead techs does not require you to wear them and only have you put them on when enforcers are around.
Work Life Balance: No sick leave or vacation leave. Pay is hourly with potential prevailing wage. Prevailing wage seems to be dependent on how well your lead tech likes you.
