Pros

Strong culture, family like atmosphere Great benefits for company size (insurance almost fully funded, 401k) They treat tenured employees really well

Cons

Remote work, so not as many in person events Some systems could be streamlined, but expected for company this size

Pros

Some key pros I noticed while working here for nearly two years: - The leadership team is comprised of government contracting vets from Lockheed and SRA as well as young, sharp minds from some of the best business schools. Even though the company is small, this experience informs their thinking around strategy, employee engagement, and maintaining customer relationships. - They don't view you just as an employee, but as a member of the business development team. If you bring a skill to the table, they want to hear about it, develop it, and include you in their effort to win new business (and compensate you for it) - Outstanding training program - They invest in every employee that walks through the door - Good benefits - They do a great job of offering a good benefits package especially given their size - "New Age" - They bring a silicon valley startup mindset to the table. From the way they lead to the technology they use, they feel less like a stodgy government contractor and more like a silicon valley startup (this is evident from their website) - Communication - The company does its best to keep lines of communication open with all employees. I ended up leaving for another opportunity after my our contract ended, but I would have stayed if given the opportunity and would re-join if offered the opportunity.

Cons

As expected for a company this size, there are some areas where the "ball can be dropped" especially when it comes to onboarding new employees and following up on performance. The leadership team is very receptive to input and willing to implement changes.
