* Not many. * Providing care for clients within their own residences. * Meeting new clients and their families.

Cons

Being given 5 minutes to reach each client. Having to dash around all day with your rota full of 14 clients, without even enough time to stop for a break or a drink.

Pros

Good training from a starting level of having no experience, block shift payments and fuel payments. Opportunities for over time. The Phone App helps keep things like care plans and tasks needed easy to understand. Both morning (7:00 to 14:00) and afternoon-evening (16;00 to 22:00) shifts offered. Most clients seem to really like us and are happy with what we do.

Cons

Sometimes the travel time is forgotten from the schedule, or unrealistic times to get from client to client are given, eg, five minutes when the journey is closer to 30. Communication between different people on the phones could be better. eg you call to raise the travel time issue and say you will be late because of it and then later get a call asking about checking in with the same client when you have not yet reached them.
