Pros

They are very open to employ people with minimal or no experience, with the view to training them up. This is commendable in such a competitive industry and enables younger employees to get experience. They also have a great reputation as a brand and represent some interesting and well-known portfolios.

Cons

As a Paralegal you may be doing a number of different tasks, including billing which shouldn't fall under your remit, without much training and minimal pay. Very long working hours. This may have changed since I left, but it meant it was difficult to focus on the actual trade mark work, as billing was time consuming. Male CEO is demanding but fair. If the female CEO decides she doesn't like you, it doesn't matter how hard you work, you will feel isolated, micro-managed and demeaned. They definitely play favourites here. If you decide you would like to leave, they offer other members of staff huge amounts of money to stay, resulting in huge disparity in pay for the same roles.
