Pros
- Supportive (ex)colleagues who readily share knowledge and celebrate your ups like its one of their own. - Accessible by public transport - School timing allows you to escape peak traffic hours - Real world debate experience
Cons
- Boomer boss who has no concept of how the real world works for the working class - Claims to be fairly run despite being a family business and it is a LIE. Do not expect a fair trial when your judgement has already been passed behind their closed doors. - Extremely poor onboarding. You will make mistakes continuously and it will be held against you with no grace. - Poorly structured curriculum with little to no prep given for hybrid learning. There is no such thing as training. Only instructions. - Blatantly lying about employee benefits and claims. No medical claim has been approved circa 2020. - Flagrant disregard for employee rights. Keep an eye on your EPF and SOCSO contributions and make sure you have a lawyer at the ready to chase them for YOUR MONEY. - Poorest communication skills I've ever come across. How are you the principal and not even aware of basic happenings in the office/ employee disputes? -Quickest turncoats. Not even sleeping with the devil (management) is going to save you from this one. - Will actively, I mean actively encourage you to tell on your colleagues and use frankly unethical tactics (questionnaires, really?) to stir tension among coworkers. Not political, my foot. - Never ever expect any events to be well planned or adequately prepared for. Everything is last minute. No one enjoys these. Stop trying to pretend they were good. - Will not defend you or stand up for you against (unreasonable) parents. - Does not follow proper Cambridge endorsed syllabi. They probably don't even know what it is. - Don't expect any due process to be done/completed. Pay -slips? Dream on. SOCSO registration? NOPE. Income Tax? Lol.
