Pros
Company is under new ownership and with that, there aren’t really any pros.
Cons
This job requires special skills and each department is completely different. Some will require you to work with chemicals, some you just sit behind a desk. The jobs that require working with dangerous chemicals do not offer the proper compensation. As I mentioned before, this company is under new ownership. The company has set unrealistic expectations and goals, the supervisors and leads do not know what their job roles consists of and what is expected of them, employee benefits and especially bonuses have changed drastically, a lot of things go unnoticed and quite frankly neglected. The HR team needs a lot of work. They will discuss matters with an employee loudly, out in the open that reveals personal and private matters to others around, and they are known to gossip about other employees amongst themselves and others and that is a major breach of privacy. Although that could be here say itself, there are people that have come and gone in the HR department and how it all was handled, I simply didn’t trust speaking to anyone in HR which is very disappointing. There were several matters that were not brought to light because this. This company is biting off more than it can chew, in my opinion, at this time.
