Pros

At a tutor level there is not much responsibility as all that is required is to show up with your name tag on and get busy.

Cons

They only pay by the month and with as few hours as they give it's the only way people are able to say it's worth working there as it looks as if more is paid when being paid on a monthly basis rather than by the week or every two weeks. Management depending on who it is can be very hateful. It just depends on who the school happens to get.

Pros

Friendly team members, considerate boss, great learning experience, hours were suitable to my needs, families and clients were fun to work with, convenient location, cute office dog, process to work with kids is very detailed and parents get a lot of good information.

Cons

Only left because I needed full-time. The employer actually helped me get my full time job.

Pros

Flexible Schedule Small, close-knit office This job is ONLY for people who like to teach

Cons

Poor pay. No benefits, since you are contracted. Workload is not evenly distributed. Everyone is not qualified to work there, so it makes work harder for others. Management does NOT have a degree to tell parents to take children off of medication - THIS IS DANGEROUS! Management defers to the good ol' boy system (BIASED) Management hovers and does not allow independent contractors to actually do independent work. Therefore, EMPLOYEES should have benefits because they are not actually contracted workers. There is not moving up in the company, as this is a personal business
