Pros

Academy Ambassadors is a great organisation that goes well above its remit. The team is hardworking, supportive, friendly and there is a great team culture! For a small team, the company achieves some great results and it s a great place for someone to learn. There is a clear focus on your personal and professional development and all members of staff are actively encouraged to get involved, offer ideas and work on areas that interest them.

Cons

Short term contracts (due to funding levels) can be a worry. However, there was constant and clear communication about the progress of funding applications. However, now funding has been secured, I would image this would not be a problem.

Pros

- Given autonomy to work on and lead a wide range of projects at a senior level. - Opportunities to work with and meet senior figures from the worlds of business and education, including the Department for Education. This was a great way to build my knowledge of the education sector and world of work in general. - Trusted to get on with your role. - Encouraged to offer solutions and put forward ideas. - Given opportunities to line manage and guide more junior members of the team. - Opportunities to work with the New Schools Network team. - Friendly team and beautiful office on the Thames.

Cons

- As a relatively junior member of the team, would have occasionally appreciated more direction - It's always busy (which can be exciting) but was at times stressful
