Pros
Predictable, easy-going if your in the right area. Very good benefits, stock options, 401K. If you're FT start at four weeks of PTO annually. For a growing company there's still a pretty consolidated mode of cascading info down to store-level.
Cons
This company has run a lot of the people off who built it. Expect to work every significant day of the year. There seems to be a level of disdain shared by the higher-ups (DM and up) for those who actually work in the stores. They will run their people into the ground to ring an extra penny of the customer. Even the HR staff are generally against those doing the real work. Not too long ago would have been considered an employer of choice. Today, a place to get experience before moving to a better situation.
