* Those big companies either never hire on contractors and/or regularly lay them off
* No vacation time unless you work with them for 12mos
* No maternity leave, jury duty pay, etc
* Paid holidays... but only after 2mos (I think, could be 3mos), so don't start just before November!
* Insurance is a bit confusing to sign up for and can't be cancelled
* Meanwhile your full time coworkers enjoy all of these benefits and better because they're not a contractor, despite holding the same job title, qualifications, etc.
