Enrollment Specialist & 1095-A - Enrollment Specialist Durational Access Health CT Employee Review

There is SO much I can say here, but let me start by saying this position became available at the right time for me. And although I knew it was for just a short term the benefits of leaving my previous job to accept a position with Access Health CT was GREATER. So for me it was the right decision. All of my interactions with Managers, my coworkers along with other full time employees was always an environment of positive attitude. Upper management is always willing to listen, via emails, suggestion box. Walking into work every morning was a pleasure, For enrollment I was placed on a different location than their two main office fronts, so as a result you must be disciplined to complete your work tasks with out daily supervision. For me this was easy as I had held other positions that required this type of skill. Meeting people all day long in helping them finally enrolled for Health Insurance, listening to their stories, where they came from was also a great experience. The smiles and sometimes the relief of knowing that they would have some level of insurance for health reasons was the most satisfactory part of the position. I was fortunate to be extended after open enrollment was complete and worked in the 1095-A department to help answer and and resolve any inaccuracies that were listed on the 1095-A form for tax filing purposes with the IRS. This too was also a great opportunity because it involved using investigative skills and the tools given to you in order to help resolve those problems. I also can not say enough good about my direct Manager. It was a pleasure to work with such a great person as well. Also supportive, open to ideas and suggestions to make the 1095A team the best that it could be.
