I tend to be drawn to companies that are in the process of re-branding or experiencing a growth phase. Everyday is exciting with many challenges in place, each feeling like a milestone on the road to a more successful company. There wasn't much marketing done on my lines for a long time, which gives me a lot of room to be creative and move the brands in the direction that I want. In my department, there is minimal micro-management. They expect you to take ownership of your role, and work cross-functionally to ensure that there is open communication between the depts. Overall, I've been happy working here and have recommended to some friends.

When I started, there were many problems with the transition from New Jersey to San Diego. While the company tried to make the move under the radar, it definitely didn't happen this way. It was a bit hectic in the beginning, but the management has been able to make great strides in key areas to fix the situation.
