It’s okay, but few incentives to deliver - Engineer Accuray Employee Review

Pros

Really great and passionate people working in the trenches. Teams are finally coalescing again after layoffs in 2022 and 2023. Performance/execution against planned projects is trending upward in some areas.

Cons

As a member of the engineering team, your performance won’t be rewarded until years after a product has been released. If you’re still with the organization by the time a product you contributed on penetrates the market, you might get a bonus if revenues are not offset by other factors out of our control. It’s a sad thing. If we ever get another bonus, a lot of people who really made it happen probably won’t be here anymore. Maybe I’m just late to the party, but I’m starting to wonder what’s the point of putting so many hours in.
