Do better - Recruiter Adaptive Solutions Group Employee Review

Pros

The people are great, and if you like a hustle, this would definitely be something you would probably like. The owners are very nice, genuine people.

Cons

The management is not great. They claim that there are flex hours, but if you walked in 5 minutes after the "right time" to be there, there was a lot of animosity around it. Very high stress environment and none of the management does anything to make it better, especially when numbers are down. They constantly watch log in times and treat grown adults when working from home if you aren't logged in right at 8am.

Thank you for taking time to leave feedback. You are correct about the flex hours. We tried that for a time, but ultimately decided it was not a good fit. Sorry that you got caught up in that confusion. I appreciate your advice and recognition is an area that can always be reviewed and improved. I hope you are doing well in your new position.

Pros

Company culture around your peers is great. Office environment and collaboration/teamwork with fellow recruiters and account managers is engaging and rewarding. When things are rolling, the job can be fun, and the compensation can ramp up quick (but there is a ceiling).

Cons

Small company that has "closed door" conversations nearly every day, most of the time talking about fellow employees that are in the office. The office politics and company favorites are obvious, and management doesn't treat everyone the same, especially if your numbers are even slightly below the everchanging goal. The micromanagement on the recruiting side can get out of control even if your numbers are fine, and Account Managers have way more overall flexibility and minimal micromanagement compared to recruiters which (at times) causes a rift between recruiters and AMs. Management tends to change things just because and the benchmarks are a moving target. If you don't do all of the thing's management asks of you then they ramp up the micromanagement to a frustrating point. The recruiter expectations are to juggle multiple goals at once and if you fall short on one then that is the focus, not the ones you exceeded expectations on.
