Pros
This is the only restaurant I’ve worked at where I felt accepted and not intimidated as soon as I got interviewed. Coworkers and managers are very welcoming and want you to learn and will help you get better. They will answer your questions without belittling you. You will get better sections if management realizes you can handle your tables. If you’re busy, the customers at your table will understand and won’t get angry if they’re waiting longer than usual. The menu is easy to become familiar with. If you’re working a double shift, you’re allowed a 30 minute break to eat or sit down but not allowed to leave the building.
Cons
There are two owners. The female owner will take her personal anger out on her employees. If she’s having a bad day, so will you. She will scream at you and embarrass you in front of your coworkers on the floor and in the kitchen. She talks to her employees with no respect and expects to be respected in return. She plays favoritism with the hostesses and servers. I think I saw her smile only once. She never praises anyone for their good work, instead she nitpicks at every little thing. She is the reason I quit. 4 stars because of this owner.
