Pros
Friendly, understanding, and helpful co-workers and staff.
Free popcorn, daily!
Fun and chill atmosphere.
Generous benefits.
Possibility to work from home, dependent on position.
Knowledge of an industry that I otherwise would have never known about.
In my opinion, you should possess knowledge of TPM, SMB. If you do, you will be a great fit! Unfortunately, unforeseen circumstances on my end hindered me from continuing to work here, however, I would still be employed if circumstances were different.
You have the ability to potentially travel to expos, conferences, and trade shows that they host across the country to see/meet potential clients, and clients you are working with. Their annual conference is in Disney!
If you are someone who is easily overwhelmed, offended, and don't necessarily agree with the hustle and bustle that this industry/company brings, you likely will not be a great fit. It's a smaller company, with a lot going on, but there are people in place who truly care about what they do, and are passionate about it. There are team members who are always willing to help.
They are growing at a quick speed, so it's exciting to be a part of, and contributing to that collaboration. It can get overwhelming at times, due to the fact that there is a lot happening, but time management, organization, and prioritization is key, just like any other normal organization. You are held accountable for your own projects and work, so if that's not your thing, and hiding behind the scenes, then this place would not be a good fit for you.
There is also potential to grow with this growing company.
Cons
There aren't that many, but I would say, oftentimes quiet atmosphere if working in the office.
There can be times of difficulty in collaborating with team members as almost everyone works remote, and not in the state of IL where HQ's are. However, I believe they are trying to do more in-house meetings with getting employees into the office more.
Isn't a typical '9-5' job. If you care like the other employees do, you will find yourself checking emails on weeknights, and weekends, which isn't necessarily a 'con' but something to keep in mind.
