Pros
The people are what made the job, even though everyone was always stressed because of it
Cons
- No direction, no room for growth - No management presence whatsoever - Deadlines are always brought up at the last minute - The clientele was hard to work with as well and no direction was given there either - No company culture - Some months we would have insurance, some months we wouldn't. 401k never came even after months of asking. - It seemed like the higher-ups did not care about the staff - High turnover rate - about 10 people had left within a year before I got there. Two people quit before I did and everyone else was looking for new jobs before I left. - It felt like a constantly toxic work environment - It seemed like a very misogynist and sexist work environment - It felt like we got Zelled our paychecks a lot instead of direct deposit - The whole experience felt like a giant con to me - It seemed like they always had big ideas but never any follow through - There is no HR department - The break area always seemed to be dirty and filled with ants - Our team of six was split into two different offices for some reason - On my second day I knew I wasn't going to stay long, and I'm glad I didn't
