Pros

I was offered a position after searching for years. I actually had given up looking for an IT job, one day I was just browsing around since I was still unemployed at the time, and received a surprise call from Adtech stating they wanted me to come in for a test. Same day I got a call for an interview and the rest is history. I was given an opportunity that no one else wanted to take the chance on, and I'm happy they did, and I'm glad to say I plan to be here as long as I can, and finally, I am happy to say I've never been more enthusiastic about going to work every morning,

Cons

I don't have anything bad to say, just show up, do your work and you'll be fine. Everyone is pleasant and helpful.

Pros

Very little micromanaging if you did what was expected of you. Many opportunities to gain hands on experience with new technology. This was huge for me. I have a lot of thanks to give Adtech for this. I have a lot of experience in using certain applications and hardware because of Adtech. Adtech will try to find what your strengths are and build your position around those strengths. Easily able to climb your way up after you show them what you are able to do.

Cons

*keep in mind it is a lot easier to think of negatives than positives* Biggest complaint was having commission pay for on-site techs. There is no reason why an on-site tech connecting a printer for John Doe should be making almost double than some of the in-house guys whose job was keeping the big clients afloat. On that same point pay was sort of meh.... It was starting to get better but a little too late for me. No real management. Nobody telling you when you were doing a good job. Only someone to scold you when you messed up. (Nothing too severe Adtech was very understanding when something went south). Those who thought they were management were usually some of the lesser techs but you found yourself having to follow their way of doing things because of how long they have been with the company. A LOT OF DEAD WEIGHT. I'm sure this holds true with every company. People who are not willing to adapt to new technology in IT should be shown the door. No true position titles. Everyone was labeled either an internet tech or network engineer.
