Pros
Good place to build experience in many facets of HR. Generally decent co-workers. My regional manager is VERY good.
Cons
NO PERFORMANCE REVIEWS - This is my biggest complaint, I have worked well over a year in the company and have NEVER received a performance appraisal even when I've asked for feedback. I like being validated in what I'm doing well and where I need to improve. Underpaid & overworked - Staying late and working weekends often necessary just to stay up on paperwork and filling positions. This is not a complaint about working hard, but there is NO incentive to bust your ass consistently other than to keep your job. Work/life balance is terrible. 95% of jobs to be placed are merely general labor meaning the only people who will take them are uneducated and normally come with a criminal record. Consistently dealing with that element will eventually cause you to lose faith in humanity and lose any/all sympathy you may have had for them. When your first worry is IF they'll even go to work, much less do the work, its very depressing and mentally draining.
