Pros
Free food that you never get to eat
Cons
I wish I had come on here to review the job before actually taking it. From day one I was caught off guard by the fake and the "say" anything to make you happy to include being shown videos from the management of them and others mocking a team member for breaking down in tears. They made a video and spread it around to each other. The manger even said " I know we shouldn't do this but it is funny' When physicians are around leadership they act one way and the second the physicians leave they act another way. There is no training program. NONE. When I asked about training and ways to improve my working with the EMR system, with a third party in the room, I was told it would be provided to me. It was not. The manager is unprofessional as well as several members of the team. There is cussing, bullying, harassment, and when the other comments say overworked, that's an understatement. You are not allowed to have break or eat during your 10 hour day. You are lucky if you can find the time to go to the bathroom. I NEVER saw one person wash their hands. Not once. When I brought up my concern to the manager I was told it would be addressed but it never was. Some of the providers are the most arrogant providers I have ever met. I took a breath too hard and was reported for attitude and when I asked if I did everything the provider asked me to do they said well yes but she didn't like your attitude. I was sore from working out and standing up physically hurt at the time. I did breathe heavily but not out of disrespect or to be rude but because I was in pain. The patient was immediately taken care of. I have seen people not be hired based on whether they were pretty or not. I have seen providers be as picky as worrying about paperclips holding papers together and you getting scolded for it if you forget provider to provider. The level of pettiness is unreal and palpable. On day 2 I was given a run down by a provider who explained the unit to me for the people. The cry baby gets their way, every time she doesn't like something she calls up to headquarters to whine and they get their way. This Physician is "messed up". Be careful with this one... The environment is a dictator-run environment. If it is not their way there is no way. The turnover is incredibly high and read it for yourself below. I was so excited to be there, I truly was. Lastly, make no mistakes. Not in training, not when you breathe, how you look at someone, nothing. I had a few decent relationships with people and I am very grateful to them and I am grateful for the lesson learned.
