Pros

APR is well-known with a great reputation. Integrity is extremely important to our firm. We have a strong network of clients, candidates and other professionals. We are consistently voted the best in our industry in our local geographic area. I have wonderful teammates who are very passionate about placing the right people in the right jobs. Our boss is extremely hardworking and provides all the guidance and resources necessary to get our jobs done effectively, to keep up with current industry trends, to stay competitive, etc. Our boss also believes in work-life balance. Therefore, the burnout factor is minimal and there is a lot of tenure here.

Cons

There are really no downsides to working at APR. There are challenges, but challenges help you grow and stay sharp. And the job can get a bit stressful at times, thus giving me the opportunity to learn to deal with stress. What I've learned here at APR about handling stress has helped me in my personal life as well. Our work is never 'done.' However, having a boss that appreciates the value of work-life balance, we are encouraged to not burn the candle at both ends.
